Spin - Adding points increases your ball's rotations per minute (RPM). Ability - Adding points increases influence of hit point mode input (X button). 
Strike - Adding points will help to negate negative effects from the player inaccurately lining up the first gauge. Ball stays centered when "essentially pure." If negative, ball strays left, if positive, ball strays right. Purity - This determines how true your shot will be to what you want and will negate negative spin in the event the player doesn't line up the second gauge perfectly. Power - Adding points increases the average yardage of the player's drive. Upon receiving enough points, a level-up dialog will appear and offer options to spend points in 5 different categories: While traversing the game and completing quests, the player will be awarded points. 
On top of normal golf, the game features disc golf, minigolf and drone piloting. The player can also acquire equipment and upgrades to improve their golfing. The player travels around the the world discovering new areas, towns and courses.
On top of challenges revolving around normal golf, the player will also be using golf skills to acquire secrets and solve puzzles. The game uses golf as its primary action.
